Topic: Fitness-for-Service Assessments of structures and components in Oil & Gas Industry (1.0 PDH)
Presenter: Sathish Kumar Ramamoorthy, Ph.D., P.E.

Abstract:
This presentation highlights case studies of Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessments of structures and components in the oil and gas industry. Using advanced finite element analysis (FEA) tools, the assessments evaluate the integrity, safety, and remaining service life of critical assets under various operating conditions. The case studies demonstrate practical applications of FFS methodologies, challenges encountered, and the insights gained to support safe and cost-effective decision-making in asset management.
